What's up guys and gals?!
The holiday season is upon us, and that means FOOD! From Turkeys and hams, to potatoes and pie, it's all delicious and covered in butter. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't work out (and look cute while doing it!)
This blog features TWO different workout looks and a way to turn one of them into a chic outfit for a night out! We'll start with the more conservative of our two outfits from the anime-loving company Just Saiyan. I spent my pre-teen and teenage years watching my fair share of anime, so when Just Saiyan gave me an opportunity to work out while looking like a character from Naruto (my favorite anime of all time) I jumped at the opportunity. They were nice enough to send me both the matching shorts and pants to this outfit, but since it's finally starting to get cold here in Los Angeles, I opted for the pants option!
These are incredibly light weight and their material helps to keep you cool while you're burning off those Christmas-time calories, with the added bonus of looking like you jumped off the pages of a comic book! I've actually cosplayed (dressed up as, for those of you unfamiliar with the term) as Kakashi Hatake, who wore pretty much this identical outfit, and I've attached a picture of that below!
For our second look, we have a bra top and short shorts from KFT Brands. The shorts are tight, but prevent chafing - perfect for getting your workout on! The graffiti print is super unique, and is a welcome change from the often-dreary plain black workout gear that most people are accustomed to. The sports bra is sturdy and supportive, without giving you the feeling of being strangled. It even comes with inserts to give you a little of the fullness back that sports bras tend to take away (they're also very helpful if your high beams are always on, if ya feel me, ladies!)
The top is also incredibly versatile, so much so that I swapped my shorts for a pair of blue silk pants from Yoins and my sneakers for a pair of white heels from Missguided, and created a night out look!
How lush are these pants, by the way?! The lace up detail is super cute and I love the ties at the bottom. I stored my change of clothes in my cross body, silver, unisex bag from Nicole Lee, which Ive featured on the blog before, but I think it's the perfect bag to take to the gym or on a run! For a final bit of detail I added my Moonstone rings.
Hope you all liked these looks! As always, the links are below. Thanks for reading!
