~Coat Week Edit~

What's up guys and gals?! On my Instagram this week, I've been showing off and styling all of my favorite coats for this chilly time of year! Who says you can't be cute AND cozy?! I've listed all the details of the looks below, as well as when and where I'd wear each coat! Enjoy!

~The Everywhere~

This is by far the most versitle coat in this edit. It's a classic, black, midlength trench coat with beautiful subtle red details. I love how the buttons give the coat a bit of subdued shine, while still keeping it appropriate enough for somewhere like a workplace environment. You can wear it over a dress with tights and booties, like I have here, or over a blazer and slacks, or a button-up blouse and pencil skirt. It is the ultimate "everywhere" coat!

~The Weekender~

This is the perfect weekend coat! A complete 180 from the "The Everywhere," this coat is outlandish and perfect for making a statement! The fur hood is beautiful and eye catching, and most importantly, fun! I've gone very flirty with my styling of this look, and worn a pair of stunning velvet knee boots from Public Desire and a lacy MissPap bodysuit. Now obviously that's not the most wearable look, (unless you're planning to surprise someone special! teehee), so I would style this with a pair of leather-look pants or black jeans and a simple knit top.

~The Date Night~

Cold weather does not discriminate! It doesn't say "Oh, you're going on a date with bae? Okay, I'll warm the weather up so you can wear that mini dress!" So this is my solution - an urban looking bomber jacket! I mean, sure, you're still going to freeze your legs off, but you can keep your top half warm AND show off that booty! I've gone for a metallic mini dress and some platform heels, but an LBD and a pair of black court heels would work just as well! I'd advise against lace up heels as adding another line on the leg tends to shorten you, and sense you already have a shorter cut jacket, you don't want the look too blocky!

~The Tea Time~

And Here is our final coat! We've covered work, weekends, and date nights, but what about brunch with the girls? Well don't worry boo, I gotchu! This look is mature and classic, but still really feminine! This long, buttonless coat in a beautiful soft pink is the classic trench sihlouette! It's more structured than the waterfall coats that are so popular right now, but doesn't feel too sedate. I've paired this coat with a similar colored sweater from Ralph Lauren, black jeans, and a pair of over the knee boots from MissPap. To add that little extra sparkle, I've added a statement bag from Nicole Lee in coordinating colors.
