~Brea Mall - Summer Shopping! Part 1~

What's up guys and gals?! Summer is just around the corner, and that means we'll all want to be getting our summer wardrobes in order! So I've teamed up with the Brea Mall and some of it's stores, LuluLemon, CottonOn, H&M, and Aveda, to show you all the latest trends and where to get them! This is the second time I've collaborated with Brea Mall, and I could not be more thrilled to be back working with them! All of the staff at the stores are SO warm and welcoming, and honestly it's one of the many reasons I recommend shopping there!! Brea Mall is filled with wonderful people! Without further ado, let's jump into it! (PS: Stay Tuned for part 2 of this blog where I show you all of the AMAZING food at the Nordstrom's Marketplace Cafe!)

LuluLemon

I don't know a single girl who doesn't have at least one pair of Lululemon yoga pants, running pants, or leggings. Seriously. The quality of their clothing is AMAZING and really worth the price. I had the opportunity to model some of LuluLemon's new running gear - their ON PACE CROP ($118) leggings with mesh inserts, their FREE TO BE SERENE ($52) sports bra, and their very slick reversible BOMB AROUND JACKET ($128). Every piece did exactly what it was supposed to, and fit like a dream while doing it. The bra kept everything in place while still giving you support, the leggings gave just the right amount of compression without flattening out your butt, and the jacket tied everything together to keep you looking and feeling cool. If you're looking for some new gym clothes to motivate you to get it in gear, LuluLemon at Brea Mall is the place to shop!

CottonOn

Next up on my journey through Brea Mall was CottonOn, a store, founded in Australia, full of everyday wearables with an Americana flair. The thing that shocked me the most upon entering the CottonOn store was just how affordable everything is, ESPECIALLY for how amazing the quality of the clothes are. Believe me when I tell you, CottonOn has THE MOST comfortable denim shorts I've EVER worn. Ever. And I've worn a lot of denim ya'll! The ones I'm modeling in these photos are the HIGH RISE CLASSIC STRETCH DENIM SHORT ($24,95) in washed blue, but they have them in a variety of colors, and honestly I need them all! I paired the shorts with one of CottonOn's biggest collections, the TBAR FRIENDS GRAPHIC TEE (On Sale right now for $10!). There's been a major Friends revival going on as of late, and if you want to jump in and rep the classic sitcom, CottonOn is here for you! They also have a huge red, white, and blue collection, which has launched just in time for the 4th of July, so be sure to check that out too!

H&M

I think it's safe to say that H&M is a go-to store for most people. Need a shirt? H&M. A bunch of new accessories? H&M. A $5 bikini that's on trend with all the latest bikinis out there? H&M (and yes, I'm not kidding. $5 bikinis!!! And they're really nice too!) In this case, however, I got to show off some of H&M's latest trends, one of which was being put out on the store floor as I arrived! I'm talking, of course, about the latest summer styles to come out of H&M - a mix of bold colorful florals, stripes, white denim, and subtle china blue prints. I can't tell you how happy all the color made me! I modeled one of their new multicolored CIRCLE SKIRTS ($49.99), and a SLEEVELESS WHITE TIE HEM TOP ($4.99) that I tied up even more to get a cropped effect.

However, some of the most impressive items from H&M are from their junior's division. Coinciding with Pride Month, H&M has released their "Equality" line, and a portion of the proceeds of every sale go to support the LGBTQ+ community! I have a ton of friends and some family members within the community, and it's absolutely thrilling to see a company on the scale of H&M showing their support! Not to mention the clothes are SO CUTE!! I'm wearing the Equality TWILL CAP WITH TEXT EMBROIDERY ($9.99), the SHORT TOP WITH ZIP ($12.99), and the SHORTS WITH SIDE STRIPES ($17.99).

Aveda

The final store I visited during my trip to Brea Mall was Aveda. If you're the kind of person who loves all-natural everything, than this is the place for you! They've recently come out with a new daily repairing hair mask, the DAMAGE REMEDY DAILY HAIR REPAIR (starting at $30), which repairs damaged hair and protects your hair if you're using things like curling irons and blow dryers!

Here are some of the things you should know!

Three of it's main ingredients are:

- Quinoa - A complete protein, revered as the mother grain by the Incas

- Macadamia - conditioning oil helps smooth the hair surface

- Soy - to help nourish the hair

- The hair repair (AND all of their other products) are cruelty free and not tested on animals

Aveda itself is also a fantastically environmentally friendly company! 100% of all of the products are made with Wind Power! Not to mention, they're a leader in advocating for clean water. Quality products and a quality message - Aveda gets a big thumbs up from me!

Thanks so much to the Brea Mall and everyone who I worked with at LuluLemon, CottonOn, H&M, and Aveda for the simply wonderful day! Hopfully we've given all you babes at home some ideas for stellar fashion and hair! Stay tuned for my in depth look at Brea Mall's Nordstrom's Marketplace Cafe! Check out Brea Mall's website HERE!
