Gifts For That Special Someone

Are you panicking over the need for a last minute Valentines Day gift, or celebrating Singles Awareness Day and feeling the need to treat yourself?

We all know that chocolates, flowers and jewelry are always appropriate, but have you thought about gifting a watch? A watch is a welcome gift regardless of the level of commitment in a relationship. You can be good friends or soul mates and a watch will suit the occasion.

I've chosen several for him and for her in a variety of price ranges.

For Her

This feminine and fashionable Vivienne Westwood watch is an affordable option for under $300.

I'm impressed with Burberry's offering to the fashion watch arena. Gifting anything Burberry would be treasured and this beauty won't break the bank. Normally priced about $500 USD, these are currently on sale for about $300. CLICK HERE TO SHOP

Who could say no to this classic Cartier Tank Watch? It's been touted as the ultimate women's watch, and though it is hardly the most expensive watch on the market, it's still up there in price.

Goldsmiths offers this watch for About $2700. CLICK HERE TO SHOP

In all fairness I'm obsessed with the look of this bit of arm candy from Breitling! The watch world can be insensitive to the feminine aesthetic. but Breitling has ticked all of the right boxes with this pretty pink face, coupled with the high quality mechanisms which they are known for. If you really want to make an impression, this is the watch to gift. You can find this on Watches of Switzerland for about $4,200 USD. CLICK HERE TO SHOP

For Him

What can you say about this classic? It's durable and tough and water resistant. The all black timepiece is accurate up to 15 seconds per month. Best of all its under 100 pounds! It's designed to imitate the AP Royal Oak, but for only a fraction of the price, About $125 USD.

This great looking Gucci watch will be a favorite for whoever opens it on Valentines Day. It's Gucci, 'nuff said!

A new entry into the luxury watch arena is Davis Elvin. At first glance you might mistake it for a six figure Richard Mille, but coming in at about $4,000, it offers style and high tech features. I own this piece from Davis Elvin, so I can confidently tell you it looks great on any wrist!

I'm rounding out my selections with this Tag Heuer Formula 1 edition . Advertised as urban and masculine, featuring a polished steel and ceramic band. My father has worn Tag Heuers most of his life while boating and water skiing and they last for decades! It's a sturdy, handsome watch for the sportsman in your life!

Prices range from $1,500-$2,400 USD
